What We Believe

Our Beliefs and Vision

Mathew 28:19-20; Matthew 22:37-39

19- "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:
20- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

37-"Jesus Said unto him, Thou shalt love The Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38- This is the first and great commandment.
39-And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

STATEMENT OF FAITH: The Baptist Faith and Message

VISION:
1- The Great Commission: Matthew 28:19-20.
2- The Great Commandment: Matthew 22:37-39

SCRIPTURE: The Bible is God's Word. It is the inspired (God breathed), inerrant, infallible and sufficient Word of God. II Timothey 3:16 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

SALVATION: While there are many plans of salvation, there is only one way of salvation, and that is Jesus.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man commeth unto The Father, but by Me" (John 14:6). the Bible says, "Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." This can be explained in just three words:
RECOGNIZE, REPENT and RECEIVE.

First, you must RECOGNIZE and realize that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God." Romans 6:23 states, "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Second, you must REPENT. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out..." Acts 3:19. Ask God to forgive you of your sin.
Third, you must RECEIVE Jesus. Believe that He died for you on the cross and rose from the dead. Romans 10:9 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." Vs 13 then proclaimes, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of The Lord shall be saved."

So here is the way of salvation.
1. RECOGNIZE. 2. REPENT. 3. RECEIVE.
No work is involved. It is all by grace through faith. If you want forgiveness of sin and a home in Heaven, you must believe on The Lord Jesus Christ.
